Michael B. Miller was born on September 1, 1931 in Los Angeles, California as Michael Borden Miller.
He was an actor, best known for The Anderson Tapes (1971), Three Days of the Condor (1975), Have a Nice Weekend (1975) and The Front (1976). He also acted in several nationally broadcast commercials, made-for-TV movies, and always kept busy on the stage.
He was married to actress Eliza Miller (I). Michael and Eliza lived in New York City and raised three sons until his sudden death on May 4, 1983 in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, USA, from heart failure while filming on location.- Born in Hollywood, he was the son of Alexander Knox and Doris Nolan. He was educated at the City of London School and Cambridge University where he graduated in English. At Cambridge, he first acted with the Marlowe Society in classical roles. He acted in Africa and on both coasts of America in experimental theatre. He met actress Imogen Hassall (after her divorce from her first husband) when appearing in a play together. They married, but the marriage was short-lived. In 1987 (when his career had nosedived), he boarded a Jersey ferry bound for the mainland to visit a friend in London. When the ferry docked, he was not on board. He is presumed to have either drowned accidentally or to have committed suicide.

After graduating from Chouinard Art Institute in 1940, Chris Ishii went to work for Disney as an assistant animator on Fantasia, Dumbo, The Reluctant Dragon, and numerous Disney cartoons. At the start of World War II he was he was interned at the Assembly Center at Santa Anita and then transferred to the Granada Relocation Center in Amache, Colorado. In both places, he worked on the camp newspapers as a cartoonist. Volunteering to join the U.S. Army from Amache in 1943, he served in the Military Intelligence Service as an illustrator for the Office of War Information, assigned to the India/China/Burma theater of war. He met and married his wife, Ada Suffiad in Shanghai, bringing her to the U.S. with him at demobilization.
After the war he briefly studied art in Paris, France. In 1952, he settled with his family in New York, and became a successful artist, known best for his film work. He worked at UPA Studios on "A Unicorn in the Garden" and "Madeline," and on Gerald McBoing Boing and Mr. Magoo cartoons.
Joining with two partners in 1965, he formed Focus Productions, a film production company. He became a freelance artist in 1975, and contributed the animated sequence in Woody Allen's Annie Hall, among other projects. During his long career, he garnered two Clio "best" and four "runner-up" awards for his television commercials. He lived in Dobbs Ferry, New York from 1955 to 2001. His wife, Ada, passed away in 1988. He is survived by sisters Kiyo and Sumi, brother Jack, three children, Christopher, Naka and Jonathan, and four grandchildren.- Actress

Alamgir Kabir was born on 26 December, 1938 at Rangamati, East Bengal, British India (now Bangladesh). After passing the ISc examination in 1954 from Dhaka College, he took admission in the Department of Physics of the University of Dhaka. In 1958, he went to England to study Electrical Engineering at Oxford University. During his University days, he was attracted to the films and inspired by Ingmar Bergman's movie the Seventh Seal. Returning home in 1966, he joined leftist movement against Ayub government and after Liberation War in 1971, he started his career in making films. His notable films are Dhire Bahe Meghna (1973), Suryakanya (1976), Simana Periey (1977), Rupali Saikate (1979), Mohana (1982), Mahanayak (1985), and Parinita (1984). The short films were the Liberation Fighter, Program in Bangladesh, Culture in Bangladesh, Sufia, Amulya Dhan, Bhor Halo Dor Kholo, Amra Dujan, Ek Sagar Rakter Binimoye, Manikancha and Chorasrot. Alamgir Kabir is the author of a number of books including Film in East Pakistan, Film in Bangladesh, Suryakanya, Simana Periey and Mohana. He received Bangladesh National Film Award, Bangladesh Film Journalists Association Award, Zahir Raihan Film Award of Uttaran, and Syed Mohammad Parvez Award. He was given the title as Cholochitracharya. This prominent film maker died on 20 January, 1989.- Actress
